Hello!

     Welcome to Griefshare at Warren Woods Church of the Nazarene.  We are very glad you have chosen to join us during this very difficult time in your life.  We trust that you will find a caring community of people here to support you on your journey from mourning to joy as we come together each week.

     The GriefShare program is built around a series of 14 weekly group sessions made up of two essential components:  the instructional portion on video and the support group time.  Each instructional video brings you effective teaching from some of the foremost experts on grief recovery from around the nation and is approximately 35 minutes in length. Our support group provides a safe place where we can share our feelings in a small group who are also experiencing grief and the emotions which accompany the loss of a loved one.

     GriefShare is a Christ-centered, non-denominational ministry and it is not necessary that you attend Warren Woods Church of the Nazarene in order to participate in our GriefShare group.  If you do not presently attend a church, we invite you to attend our services on Sunday and/or to participate in any of our activities and programs anytime you would like.  It is our intention that you feel comfortable and welcome here and hope you find us an oasis of friendship, care and support.

     You will be asked to fill out a registration form here on our website or at your first meeting.  The purpose of this information is to provide us with your basic contact information and will help us get to know a little bit about you.  Your information is confidential and will not be shared with any other groups, organizations or people outside the GriefShare leadership.  Completion of this form is strictly voluntary and if there is any portion of the form you do not wish to share, simply feel free to leave that blank.

     There is no charge to participate in our GriefShare support group.  You will receive a GriefShare workbook during your first meeting to facilitate your journey through the grief process.  At Warren Woods we want every participant to have this essential tool and therefore provide the workbook at no cost to you.  Donations to cover the cost of workbooks for future GriefShare groups are always appreciated, though never required.
