WWCN Support Groups
In a perfect world, people who could benefit from the nurture and accountability of a support group, would naturally recognize that need and feel free to take advantage of this God-given avenue for healing and hope. Unfortunately, most people only attend a support group when encouraged and even cajoled by someone who cares for them. The most common response given when asked how they happened to attend a support group is "My friend/relative told me about it." Sometimes that friend or relative cared enough to BRING them to the group the first few times. For example, with addictions, denial is part of the disease, and people do not have a realistic picture of themselves. They need people who care enough to be honest with them and "speak the truth in love." (Eph. 4:15)

YOU could make the difference in someone's life by being familiar with our support groups and helping to spread the word!
