The Church of the Nazarene now has over 800 missionaries serving in 151 world areas. In addition to sharing the gospel with those who have not heard it, the church also has missionaries serving in education (elementary to college), medical and compassionate ministries.
Partnership with Brazil
Our church works to effectively spread the gospel worldwide. To this end, we've begun a three-year partnership with Brazil, to better bring all of THE WOOD’s resources to a needy world area. During this partnership, we'll send work & witness, maintenance, youth and medical relief teams to Brazil. We'll also house Brazilian exchange students and train Brazilian pastors.
This is our first experience in a long term partnership with an overseas field, so we're in the process of discovering all the forms that our partnership may entail. Our next trip is scheduled for March 12th through March 26th, 2009. Check out our partnership with Brazil page for more information and up-to-date news.

Work & Witness
Work & Witness is a "hands on" mission experience where a team from our church will travel to an overseas destination to construct a building on the mission field. Our church currently sponsors two Work & Witness teams annually. Throughout the years, our church has sponsored over 70 buildings in 25 countries.
Jesus Film
The Church of the Nazarene has partnered with Campus Crusade to reach into new world areas with the "Jesus" film. The "Jesus" film has been used as an effective evangelism tool having been shown to over 32 million people in their own language. Well over 3.5 million people have responded to the gospel as a result.
Operation Christmas Child
Operation Christmas Child brings joy and hope to children in desperate situations around the world through gift-filled shoe boxes and the Good News of God's love. This program of Samaritan's Purse provides an opportunity for people of all ages to be involved in a simple, hands—on missions project while focusing on the true meaning of Christmas—Jesus Christ. Here are the WOODs we have a goal of 1500. National Collection week is November 17th through the 24th, 2008. The Main Campus is a district collection site.
Crisis Care Kits
Currently collecting to help the victims of flooding in the Midwestern region of the United States.
Crisis Care Kits (CCKs) are a cooperative effort between Nazarene Compassionate Incorporated and Nazarene Missions International. CCKs continue to meet needs of victims of disaster around the world. Almost 425 (CCKs) were donated by The Woods in 2007! Our 2008 goal is 500. The kits have gone to Belize, California,, Dominican Republic, Greensburg, KS, Haiti, Jamaica, Jordon, Louisiana, Philippines, Senegal, Sri Lanka, Ukraine, and Zambia. The generosity of the WOODs has made an incredible difference!
